OKOSANU participated in “Polish Sound Art in China Tour” with 6 live performances and workshops in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Foshan.

“Polish Sound Art will be presented in September 2006, in a form of 2-weeks ongoing festival at the most important and significant culture centres in China: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Foshan. Concerts and performances will be presented at the concert venues, galleries and club spaces.
The similar form of the Chinese Sound Art will be presented in four Polish cities (Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan) in March 2007.
Presentation of the the most interesting projects of the Polish and Chinese sound art scene provides the dynamic development of the cultural exchange between our countires. Integration of new technology, traditional instruments and originaly designed installations and sound objects is a new advanced form of the sound art. Inviting Polish and Chinese artists to the project of exchange determines special form of integration in a timeless and multicultural dimension. It will take an impact to the clear seperation of the art from their political context, getting closer elements which seems to be oposite from their cultural base, finaly compose multidimensional plaform of the cultural, ethnical, aesthetical and social references.”
